How AION 2 is monetized
AION 2 is free to download on Steam and PURPLE with optional in-game purchases, and NCSoft offers an optional monthly membership. The game runs on two currencies — Kina you earn and Quna you buy — and the shop is cosmetic-first: outfits, wings, pets, weapon skins and accessories with no combat advantage, plus convenience consumables that NC says are also earnable in play. NC does not sell gear or permanent stats.
