Choosing a class
AION 2 has no auto-combat, so every class is played manually — the difference between classes is how much they ask of your positioning and timing rather than how much damage the game deals for you.
Pick on playstyle first. Group content is balanced around having a defensive anchor and a healer, but the flexible slots (Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, Chanter) all clear content — pick the one whose rotation you enjoy.
